CS4: Team Saline Solutions – “Saline & Coffee” – A Researcher’s Platform
An open platform design for researchers to run & analyze cognitive domain test & EEG correlations.
Build a platform where researchers can create, deploy & share analyse cognitive domain test that is records time stamp EEG data at home.
Test App that record & display time series EEG data on the cloud

The full story: Our team’s approached to this is to build a tool for researches from all over the world, to;
Create: Cognitive Domain Test Modules, that can be mixed & matched with other test in their library
Deploy: These test can quickly be deployed via web-base/mobile apps to caregiver/patient’s home with a connected bluetooth devices, such as a $100 EEG
Analyze: Taking real-time EEG feedback as the patient runs the test, a timestamp of each actions is captured via the EEG and is feed to the cloud server. From the cloud server, the data can be broken down, tags and shared anonymously with other researchers.
We found from our researches that collecting and analyzing data, is a time consuming process. These data can be subjective, based on who is administrating these test and to have the patient come into the facility is a logistical issue in itself. Thus, if these customizable test can be done remotely with a inexpensive EEG bluetooth devices, that records the reactions time and time series EEG reading of the patient(s), giving the researcher objective datas to base their diagnostic off of.
There’s lots of avenue that this platform tool can go. It gives the researchers, a customizable modular test that they can build form to collect demographic and other info, an inexpensive way to quickly deploy these test remotely (web/mobile devices), and finally a way to quickly get as much data as possible to share amount other colleagues.
