HI all!

I’m Joacim - originally from Sweden, but now I’m calling Phoenix my home. My background is in computing and gaming.

During the last two years, that I’ve been involved with HackerNest in Phoenix, I’ve met so many fun and interesting people! There is so much talent, ideas and energy in the tech community! It’s just brimming with creative juices, waiting for an opportunity to make peoples everyday life better. HackerNests TechSocials and Hackatons are the outlets for that energy.

I am honored to helping building a tighter tech community through HackerNest in Phoenix.

Looking forward to meeting all of you in real life. And if you’re in the neighborhood of the Grand Canyon State - let me know! We can grab a Jolt Cola or coffee!

Hi everyone!

I’m a tech social organizer for Edmonton and occasionally Calgary, having been involved with the Toronto tech socials and hackathons before moving west for work. I’ve consequently been to 16+ tech socials so far (it helps when you can double up between multiple cities in one month!!). I’m getting increasingly more involved in open data initiatives, even though I am NOT fluent in code (or even stammeringly passing at code).

Places that I love: winter skating at the harborfront in Toronto, summer walks down King street. I love the weird functional architecture of public spaces, like swimming pools and libraries.

Anyways, I already know that so many of you are some of the coolest people, so I look forward to meeting more of you and hanging out digitally (and IRL when I can!)

Hi everyone!

Firstly thanks to Ryan for pointing me in this direction! I’m Adam, I am the organiser of CoinFestUK 2017 - A cryptocurrency event aimed at all levels of audience. CoinFestUK host speakers, bitcoin workshops and education sessions and for our 2017 event I have been talking with Ryan regarding ideas for hosting a Blockchain hackathon. We have received alot of positive interested regarding this idea and would love to work with the hackernest community to make this happen.

I work on cryptocurrency projects full time and have recently launched a new cryptocurrency faucet, currently I am working full speed on organizing CoinFestUK I’m trying to build on feedback from our 2016 event and hopefully make 2017 a much bigger event.

I am hoping to attend the next HackerNest Manchester to meetup with the team and work on ideas.

Hello, World!

I am Cynthia. I worked on Aviation field as a programmer, QA and HR manager before…but in China. I moved to Toronto two years ago, Now I am a student in Seneca college and my major is IT project management.

Actually I did programme loooong times ago. I used to C# and oracle before, but now I almost forget everything. I will try to review IT knowledge this year, and hope I can improve quickly through learning at school and here!

As a new resident, I would like to discover Toronto and Hackernest in 2017! I like harbourfront, hiking, outdoor activities, dogs(unfortunately, I don’t have it), driving… let us do them together!
