Come to Canada, PLS!
Still have very fond Lyft memories from San Diego.
@Ryan REAL TALK. Will never forget getting into a Lyft and the driver saying “There are Scooby Snacks and bottles of water back there if you want them!” Heck yeah, I do!
That should be the business model of so many more establishments, tbh…
@Ryan Legit. My partner would patronize any place/service that offered complimentary Scooby Snacks.
Who wouldn’t?!? Bad people, that’s who.
I legit scowled at the thought of downloading Uber again. I use Lyft whenever I’m in the US now.
@Annika I refuse to have anything to do with Uber anymore. Would rather take public transit and taxis until Lyft arrives in Toronto.
Is there an ETA on Lyft in Toronto?
@Ryan I haven’t heard anything, I’m just hoping that given their incredibly rapid expansion it’s only a matter of time.
I hate to pile on, but if ever there was a time for Lyft or other competitors to pounce on Uber, it certainly seems like now is it.
@Ryan Pile away. They deserve it, IMO.
Lip service to diversity doesn’t mean diverse…
Until they tackle the actual problem, hiring more diversely is just going to = more people being treated in awful ways. Bandaid solution that isn’t even a solution.
As an honest question (because I don’t claim to know all the details surrounding the Uber allegations), what would tacking the actual problem look like? A corporate purge, or is something that is systemic from the top down?
